In Karachaevsk town on Sunday, on December, 25th at 7.30 p.m., unknown persons wounded hard with automatic weapon an FSB employee in his apartment. Unknown persons approached on an automobile to the multi-store house, on which ground floor he lives in a flat. At that moment he was busy with repair.

Unknown criminals opened fire from automatic guns in the window where they saw him. The FSB employee was wound with five-six bullets. His spouse was in the flat then and called militia.

The FSB employee in the heavy condition was delivered to hospital. In Karachaevsk town and in the area the plan "Vulcan-5" is declared; the law-enforcement bodies started searching of the attackers.

The Office of Public Prosecutor of Karachaevsk instituted criminal proceeding on the fact of the armed attack the employee of Karachaevo-Circassian FSB department, the public prosecutor of Karachaevsk Askhat Teunaev informed.

According to the public prosecutor, they have several preliminary versions of the attack the employee of the FSB. "We cannot choose one of them yet.
