His nominee was suggested by the chairman of the republic parliament Ruslan Hadjebiekov: the applicant for the senator’s post finished Plehanov’s Institute, master of economic degree, in 2002-2003 headed the ministry of economic development and trade of the republic, till this day has been the chairman of the Board of the firm «Orehprom».
The powers of the senator from Adygeya Adam Tleuzh during the convocation ended on March 12th this year - after election of the new deputies of the republic. The speaker thanked Tleuzh "for valuable execution of the powers of the member of the Council of Federation and representation of the State Soviet-Khase of Adygeya Republic in it".
He sounded the wish of the chairman of the supreme legislature of Russia Sergey Mironov that was to prolong Tleuzh’s powers on his post till the autumn of 2007 when the elections to the State Duma of Russian Federation would pass. The senator from Adygeya was a member of the Central Electoral Committee of Russian Federation, and his work there was already adjusted.
In speech before the deputies Tleuzh noted that he did everything a member of the Council of Federation for his region could do. In particular, being a member of the tripartite commission on budget, since 2001 he annually initiated amendments into the budget to let the republic receive in addition from 100 up to 150 million rubles.
Results of the voting on the new senator’s nominee were: 34 voices pro, 18 - contra. In his first speech told on the new post, Hashir thanked the deputies for their trust, assured them that he attentively watched the work of the Council of Federation, knew about the basic directions of its work and understood his responsibility before the deputies and the people of Adygeya.
Note: the procedure of appointment to the post of the senator from Adygeya has not passed yet till its end. The last part – its approval - would pass directly in the Council of Federation.
