In Adygeya the book “Besleney - Bridge of Circassia”, collected by Samir Hotko, was published on the basis from the Russian historical sources (the second half of the XIII century - 1864). The circulation of the book is 1000 copies, the edition is carried out at financial support of A.D. Khapsirokov, the general director of firm "Saturn" (aul Adyghe-Habl, KCR).

As the author and the composer remarked, “the book represents the collection of the data, concerning the most essential aspects of the ethnic, political and cultural history of the region of East Cis-Cuban”. And his interest to the region was based on that “for the last years development of historical and ethnologic knowledge was accompanied by a lot of the publications having tactical, superficial character”.

The book is supplied by a plenty of illustrations - the maps generally made by the Russian imperial militarians, as well as of art cloths, photos. In it there are also various tables in which as the population of princedom Besleney, tribes and the nationalities adjoined to that princedom, and their loss during the war (and in other cases - growth) are specified.

“The documentary history of this princedom, - Samir Hotko wrote in the foreword to the book, - began approximately in the XVI century, but the existing researches and the logic of the ethnic history of Adygs itself during those centuries prompt us the essentially earlier chronological border line of Besleney’s formation – the end of the XIII-XIV centuries.

“In the Adygeyan legends all the basic subethnic groups of the plane Circassia or all the so-called aristocratic tribes which had the princely management, the hierarchical feudal social ladder, had appeared simultaneously, - he remarked further. - Thus, Hatukais, Janeis, Temirgois, Besleneys and Kabardians were obviously issued during the same historical time - the epoch of formation of the great country of Adygs from Taman up to the Caspian Sea”.
