According to the press-service of the Adygeya president “on September, 7th, Aslan Tkhakushinov commemorated the memory of the representative under human rights in Adygeya Republic Michael Prikhlenko”.

“Michael Prikhlenko died in his study in the morning on September, 4th. On the official conclusion, the reason of his death became “hypertonic illness at primary heart damage”, - it was spoken in the press release.

Michael Prikhlenko, according to the press release, was the person widely known not only in Adygeya. He had headed the Office of Public Prosecutor of the republic since December, 1988 till October 2007: the period в of his work as public prosecutor appeared to be some kind of the record among all the public prosecutors of the subjects of Russian Federation.

Michael Prikhlenko retired from the post of public prosecutor of Adygeya on the length of service. On May, 28th, 2008 at the session of the State Soviet- Khasa of Adygeya Republic he had been appointed to the post of the representative under human rights.
