On May, 9th, 2010 Russia celebrated the 65-th anniversary since the date of the victory in the Great Patriotic war.

The Second World War was begun in September, 1st, 1939 after intrusion of the German armies into the territory of Poland and ended on September, 2nd, 1945 when Japan capitulated.

The Great Patriotic War was begun on June, 22nd after attacking by the German armies the USSR and terminated on May, 9th after Germany’s capitulation.

Armies of France, the USA and the Great Britain (England) on May, 9th, 2010 had taken part in the parade on the Red Square. And they were not veterans... Though in the parade of the Victory Russian cadets and officer cadets did not participated.

Nobody denies the contribution of France, the USA and the Great Britain (England) in the rout of the hitlerite Germany, but the losses of the USSR in that war are incomparable to the allies’ ones. The decision to invite the allies’ armies to the parade also causes bewilderment on a background of the intentions of some countries of the former antihitlerite coalition to delete the USSR from the history of that victory.

It is done for revision the after-war dividing of Europe.

On the one hand, that is a kind of reminder for the NATO about participation of the USSR and as its successor – Russia - in the Second World war, on the other hand that is one of the forms of the insult of veterans of our country: today the USA, the Great Britain (England) and France are not our allies. With it we cause the feeling of patriotism among our comrades in the former antihitlerite coalition, instead of among us.

Much to our regret, the present young generation has grown on the depersonalized culture. We, as young generation, have lost the spirit of our ancestors which threw them into the fight, forcing to protect the native land. Certainly, it is much more interesting to watch any of the Hollywood movies, than to experience with our tractor operators and milkmaids their pain of the life.

Still the authorities should have asked all over again people before inviting the NATO to the Red Square, the people which has already nicknamed the action: "Parade of the NATO’s Victory".

But proceeding from that we like little Ivans, not remembering their relationship, have forgotten about everything what had happened to our people, we should have calmly seen any armies of any country on the Red Square, not having thought of what way they had participated, having risen together with our armies against the total genocide.

P.S. As my friends told me, in Dahovskaya village unknown persons destroyed a monument - the plate with an inscription fixed on the place of Cossacks’ execution during the Civil war and "anticossack" policy in Kuban, Don and Terek. More than 15 years the plate had been at which grandsons and great-grandsons commemorated the victims of the fratricidal war, remembered not only the ancestors, but also all the lost Cossacks.

Building of monuments is a reverence by descendants to the memory of the ancestors, and their destruction means destruction of that memory, a kind of help to "some countries" in revision of the results of the Great Victory and an attempt to justify the admission of the NATO armies onto the Red Square.
