On May, 28th, communists of Adygeya led in Maykop on the eve of Motherhood and Children’s Protection Day a picket with slogans: “Hands off our children!”, “We shall not let them destroy children's souls!”, “We shall not let anybody ruin our future” and some others. On Lenin's square as participants of the action nearby 25 persons who were distributing leaflets among passers-by, gathered.

Council of Maykop workers, the republican and the town committees of the Communist Party of Russian Federation, the regional branch of Komsomol organized the action.

“Reforms carried out in Russia, the participants of the action consider, in a greater degree had struck on the young generation - our future”. The ruined factories and collective farms caused that in many Russian citizens appeared to be without any job. That’s why we have drunkenness, narcotism, poverty. In the country there are millions homeless children.

In Maykop there is an acute problem of the kindergartens. The places in them are expected by over 6 thousand children. But even the working kindergartens have a lack of financing; therefore cases of children’s poisonings become frequent. Children's social grants in Maykop are scanty – only 105 rubles. But at the same time “luxurious palaces of nouveau riches who without problems can send for studying their children to the best educational institutions of the USA and Europe, appeared”.

Through the State Duma of Russian Federation they pressed the decision of the government "to reform" the legal status of the state (municipal) establishments that is fraught in essence with cancelling of the free-of-charge education in the country. As usual, at adoption of such decisions Russian citizens are assured that there would be that way. But experience of "privatization", the reform of housing and communal services and many other things show that Russians are being banally made fools again.
