At midnight of November, 12th in the territorial waters of Abkhazia the post of technical supervision of the frontier station "Gagida" revealed a vessel under the flags of Libya and Georgia which rate ran from the south to the north. The crew of the vessel did not react to numerous inquiries of the post; that was reported to the boundary army command in the structure of the Ministry of the state security of Abkhazia. The chief of the service of the governmental information of Abkhazia Christian Bzhanija informed about it IА REGNUM.

As he said, the service of the state security contacted the Ministry of Defense of Abkhazia, and at 5:30 a.m. the Naval Forces of the republic detained the ship-infringer. As it was found out during the interrogation, the vessel crew was consisted of citizens of Syria, Egypt and Libya. Workers of Georgian port Poti, according to members of the crew, assured them that in the north nothing threatened their free traveling - as the vessel was in the territorial waters of Georgia. Meanwhile, the Abkhazian party explained to the infringers that they had swum into the territorial waters of Abkhazia. According to Bzhanija, after the explanation the vessel was released.
