50 people, bodies of whose relatives staid in cars-refrigerators, at support of the international legal expert organization “Human Rights Watch” addressed in the European court under human rights in Strasbourg. They consider that their rights to freedom of worship, respect of private and home life, and the right for effective means of protection against the specified infringements had been broken. They demand to move the bodies to the mortuary where there would be appropriate sanitary conditions, to lead urgently judicial-medical examination and to return the bodies for burial according to traditions of Islam.
In the claim sent to the court they emphasized that the Russian legislation does not provide exact procedure of identification who is the terrorist: "The Law "About struggle against terrorism" really contains definition of terrorist but in it it is not underlined who has powers to define as a terrorist any person. The killed can be recognized as a terrorist only on the basis of the criminal proceeding and strict conclusions of the Office of Public Prosecutor. But without carrying out of the judicial consideration the families of the applicants do not have any opportunity to protect their dead relatives. However even a judicial consideration causes serious problems. The right for fair judicial consideration would be broken, as the accused are dead and so have no opportunity to protect themselves from the sounded charges".
As it became known to "Newspaper of South", the European court has directed its inquiry to the government of Russia. They left for a reply the term till November, 22nd.
