The voting on Aslancheriy Tkhakushinov’s nominee passed on December 13 in the State Soviet-Khase of Adygeya. The pro-rector of the Maykop state technological university Khazret Bliagoz informed it to Natpress. As he notified, the voting was secret, 50 deputies were for the submitted nominee; two bulletins appeared to be void, 1 deputy voted against, 1 deputy was not present at the session. At the session Tkhakushinov was invited to the presidential chair.

As Radio of Adygeya informed, in the next spring in Maykop the first international competition of beauty «Circassian girl-2007» will pass. For the main prize in that competition young girls from Adygeya Karachaevo-Circassia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Abkhazia and the Adygeyan foreign Diaspora would compete. The authors of the idea and the organizers of the competition are married couple: actor Murat Kukan and writer Saida Hunagova.
