Aslan Beshtoev was elected Chairman of Adyga Khasa of the Republic of Abkhazia. Earlier Beshtoev has held the post of the Adyga Khasa Vice President. On August 14, 2009 Adyga Khasa and the Union of volunteers of the Republic of Abkhazia representatives declared they will adhere to the neutral position at the forthcoming presidential elections in Abkhazia. The same day Anzor Goov abdicated the Adyga Khasa Chairman’s responsibility by his request.
